Privacy Policy

How we handle your data.

Effective May 17, 2026. This Policy describes how Wetrocloud Inc (“Tabs Editor”, “we”, “us”) processes information collected through tabseditor.com and related services.

1. Who we are

Tabs Editor is a product of Wetrocloud Inc. We operate the website at tabseditor.com and the associated content generation, scheduling, publishing, and backlink services (the “Service”). For any privacy-related question, contact us at hello@tabseditor.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. When you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) collects your name, email address, and authentication identifiers. We receive a stable user ID from Clerk to associate activity with your account.
  • Project information. URLs, domain names, brand voice descriptions, target keywords, language preferences, and other inputs you submit so we can generate and publish content for you.
  • Generated content. Articles, outlines, titles, metadata, schedules, and publication records produced by the Service on your behalf.
  • Integration credentials. API keys, OAuth tokens, and connection settings you provide so we can publish to your CMS or third-party platforms. These are stored encrypted at rest.
  • Billing information. If you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor collects the payment details directly. We receive only the transaction status, plan, and a customer identifier — never your full card number.
  • Usage and device data. Pages viewed, features used, IP address, browser and device type, referrer, and timestamps. This is collected through standard server logs and Google Analytics.

3. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service;
  • Generate, schedule, and publish content to destinations you have connected;
  • Authenticate users and secure accounts;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Send transactional emails, product updates, and support replies;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you requested), legitimate interests (to operate and secure the Service), consent (where required for cookies or marketing communications), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Sharing of information

We share information only with:

  • Service providers that help us run the Service — including hosting, authentication (Clerk), payment processing, email delivery, analytics, large language model providers, and error monitoring. They are contractually bound to process data only on our instructions.
  • Destinations you connect (such as your CMS or other publishing platforms), so we can deliver the content you ask us to publish.
  • Authorities, when required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.
  • A successor, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the protections of this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. AI processing

Content you submit (URLs, brand inputs, keywords) and the resulting generated articles may be processed by third-party large language model providers acting as our sub-processors. We instruct these providers not to use your content to train their models. We do not use your private project content to train any general-purpose model of our own.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage of the marketing site. You can block cookies through your browser settings; some parts of the Service may not function correctly without them.

8. Data retention

We retain account, project, and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize associated data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal, accounting, or security reasons (for example, invoice records).

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for credentials, access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; if we discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

10. International transfers

We process data in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise most of these rights from within your account, or by emailing hello@tabseditor.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via the Service before they take effect. The “Effective” date at the top reflects the latest revision.
